On October 15, 2019, Defeat the Streets in partnership with Gallagher Benefit Services took time to roll up their sleeves and make an impact at AHRC NYC. THANK YOU to those who volunteered and or made a donation. With more than 800 pounds of food collected, hundreds of toiletries, winter items, handmade cards, coloring books, scarfs and gloves (all made by AHRC NYC’s Adults with Disabilities) we can truly say our day of giving back to AHRC NYC’s Adult Day Services and their community was a huge success. Not only did the community benefit, we all did by a day of laughter, dancing, smiling and plenty of hugs.
