We came to meet Rodney during our collaborative event with the Food Bank For New York City this summer. Rodney is a warehouse professional and the day we met him he was assisting the group on the process of repacking donated items for distribution.
Rodney became acquainted with the Food Bank from an early age growing up in Harlem. He admired and respected their involvement in the community which helped influence his decision to seek employment with the organization two and a half years ago. He is proud to be a part of an organization that provides 1.4 million meals a week and which reaches 1 in 5 New Yorkers.
We are proud to highlight Rodney; as we need more people like him giving back to the city.
